Who do you turn to when you have lost yourself? In these two magical short stories, hope is restored through return to culture. A shy Métis girl copes with increasing poverty and her mother's mental illness with help from the forest. A wedding photographer is emotionally under water, but through the lens of her camera, she is returned to the land of her ancestors.
